Abstract	Forecast information from statistical and numerical models has considerable potential for efficient management of India's water resources. This project examines the manner in which this information is generated and disseminated, taking into account potential for development of spatially explicit probabilistic forecast products. A first step entails characterization of error tolerances on spatially explicit monsoon forecast information.
