Assessment of the technical means for, and the politics and ethics of, intentional large-scale manipulation of the global environment provides a clear window on the hard value questions at the core of our response to climate change.

I will continue research on geoengineering, focusing on understanding the history of proposals to manipulate the large-scale environment.
